
Bank Windhoek has launched its refreshed logo and brand proposition, as part of the evolution of its brand.
The bank’s Managing Director, Baronice Hans, said in a statement that the rebranding, which was announced on Thursday, is set to open exciting possibilities and signals the birth of a value-driven brand aimed at enabling positive change.
“Our rich history and legacy gives us the legitimacy and credibility to navigate a better future for ourselves and all our stakeholders. Our brand refresh is a celebration of the exciting journey we have walked with our customers and are entering into in terms of the future.”
As a part of the rebranding exercise, the bank will launch a new enhanced website before the end of August.
The evolution of the Bank Windhoek brand, with a renewed brand promise to all its stakeholders, is an opportunity to make banking with the institution an even more positive experience, Hans said.
“As a local bank, we must remain relevant and support our next level of growth in this competitive market. We want to ensure that everyone who lives in our great country has the backing to reach their full potential, whether it’s through the financial solutions we offer, the businesses we invest with, or through the community projects we support.
“In a Namibia with so many possibilities, we sell solutions, not products and believe in building long-lasting relations with our customers and stakeholders,” Hans said.
She further said they want to be the most trusted and inspiring connector of positive change.
Bank Windhoek is the flagship brand of the Capricorn Investment Group Limited (Capricorn Group), a financial services group listed on the Namibia Stock Exchange.
Executive Officer: Marketing and Corporate Communication Services, Jacquiline Pack, said they had effected change to their brand icon to reflect a progressive, innovative look.
“It’s the passion to make a difference in the lives of people that comes through our updated logo which features smoother edges and cleaner lines. We have removed the standard blocked icon to free up the logo aligning it to the overall Capricorn Group brand strategy,” Pack said.
She said customers would now enjoy a world-class experience with the new features on their electronic platforms, such as the Mobile App and internet banking platform, IBank.
